2. Описание выполненной работы по отдельным разделам с указанием объема работы

I. Индивидуальное чтение 100 страниц аутентичного текста роман Ш. Бронте «Джейн Эйр» («Jane Eyre»).
1. Написание характеристики 2 персонажей с использованием предложенной схемы и клише.

Jane Eyre
Jane Eyre is described as plain, with an elfin look. Jane describes herself as, "poor, obscure, plain and little." Mr. Rochester once compliments Jane's "hazel eyes and hazel hair", but she informs the reader that Mr. Rochester was mistaken, as her eyes are not hazel; they are in fact green.
Jane is the central character of the novel. She narrates the story about her life starting from the childhood, gradually leading to the present time. The story follows her development from an unruly child to intelligent young woman. Her character is created to defy Victorian imposed social conventions that oppress and belittle women. Jane speaks in the name of all women in the 19th century who were condemned to passive lives of obedient housewives, saying “I am no bird; and no net ensnares me: I am a free human being with an independent will.”. Her intelligence, independency and determination lead her straight to her happiness. She knows what she wants and she fights for it, disregarding the conventions.
Jane has more moral than any other socially acceptable character in the novel, since she has a pure heart and a real faith in God, unlike boastful ladies and gentlemen with social status and horrible hidden secrets. Although artistic and educational pursuits are essential elements of Jane's personality, she also feels a need to assert her identity through rebellion. In the opening chapters of the novel, Jane refers to herself as a "rebel slave," and throughout the story she opposes the forces that prevent her from finding happiness: Mrs. Reed's unfair accusations, Rochester's attempt to make her his mistress, and St. John's desire to transform her into a missionary wife. I think that Jane's personality balances social awareness with spiritual power. Throughout the novel, Jane is referred to as an imp, a fairy, a relative of the "men in green." As fairy, Jane identifies herself as a special, magical creature.

Mr. Rochester
He is described as having black hair, a "decisive nose", a "colourless, olive face, square, massive brow, broad and jetty eyebrows, deep eyes, strong features," and a "firm, grim mouth". In the novel, Jane often compares him to a wild bird, such as an eagle, falcon and cormorant.
Brontë describes Rochester as aloof, intelligent, rugged and witty. The reader first meets him when he falls off his horse, accusing Jane of bewitching it. From the beginning, we get the impression that Rochester is aloof, wild and outspoken. Like Jane, Rochester is connected with almost psychic powers. His "wealth" of power for communicating happiness seems magical to Jane, as are his abilities to read people's unspoken thoughts from their eyes with incomprehensible acumen.
